SAP Business One Salary Guide 2026 (UK & US)

Posted on 26 April 2026

Methodology. This is a market salary benchmark, not a primary survey. Bands are synthesised from publicly-available SAP partner job postings, anonymised offer data from Henley Morgan placements made between October 2025 and April 2026, and 2026 industry reports including the Hays UK Salary Guide and Robert Half US Technology Salary Guide. Bands represent the typical mid-50% range for the role. Last updated April 2026 and refreshed every six months.

At a glance: SAP Business One salaries in 2026

A mid-level SAP Business One Functional Consultant in the UK earns £45,000–£60,000 in 2026, rising to £75,000–£95,000 at lead level. In the US, the same mid-level role pays $85,000–$115,000, with practice leads reaching $180,000–$260,000+.

Three forces are pushing rates up year-on-year: SAP HANA migration backlogs are creating a shortage of senior consultants; consolidation of the SAP partner channel is bidding up practice-lead packages; and the embedding of e-commerce, EDI, and Boyum B1UP into baseline B1 implementations means consultants who can integrate are now worth a 15–25% premium over functional-only counterparts.

What's moving SAP B1 salaries in 2026

HANA migrations are the dominant story. SAP is gradually retiring SQL-based deployments of B1, and the customer migration backlog at partners is enormous. Consultants who have led at least one HANA migration are now commanding 12–18% over their SQL-only peers at the same seniority.

The partner channel is consolidating. Practice-lead and head-of-ERP packages have inflated as acquirers compete for proven leadership.

E-commerce and integration skills are becoming baseline. A B1 consultant who can integrate with Magento, Shopify, BigCommerce, or EDI partners (via Boyum, Magic xpi, or Skyvva) is worth materially more than a functional-only counterpart.

Remote work has stabilised at hybrid. Most B1 roles are now hybrid (2–3 days office) and salaries have normalised.

Certifications and skills that pay a premium

  • SAP Certified Implementation Consultant — SAP B1 Release 10 / HANA — the highest-leverage cert in 2026

  • Boyum B1UP partner certification — 8–12% premium for partner-channel roles

  • SAP B1 + Crystal Reports + SAP Analytics Cloud — 5–10% premium for reporting-heavy roles

  • SAP B1 + Beas Manufacturing — 10–15% premium for manufacturing-vertical specialists

  • Prince2 / PMP for project managers — typically a £5–10K UK / $10–20K US uplift

Where the highest-paying SAP B1 jobs are

United Kingdom. London and the South-East dominate the partner market, with Manchester, Birmingham, Reading, and Leeds as secondary hubs. End-user roles cluster in manufacturing-heavy regions: the M62 corridor, the Midlands, and the Thames Valley.

United States. The largest B1 partner concentrations are in the New York metro, Boston / New England, Atlanta and the Southeast, Dallas-Fort Worth and Houston, and the Bay Area / Los Angeles.
